With winter approaching, I am looking for recommendations on handmade short smokes. So far I have gotten surrogate cracker crumbs, Dunbarton polpetta, Liga privada papa fritas, and Arturo fuente maduro exquisitos. Any similar suggestions to these to try?
I’m a big fan of CAO Amazon Basin Daggers as well as Nasty Fritas. Another staple for me is the Melanio No. 4 Maduro, but you’ve probably had that one. Have you tried the Liga coronets by any chance? I love smoking a few of those on colder days outside. Short enough to not freeze to death of if you're pressed for time, but still flavorful and produce a lot of smoke.
AF short Story, Nasty Fritas, If you have a good 30 min the Nub line has solid sticks
Padron Corticos if you can find them.
Oliva Serie V No. 4 is an excellent option.
Tabernacle Broadleaf in corona is quick and hits the spot.
Try the RoMa Craft Neanderthal HoxD.
Love the liga privada no 9 coronets come in tins of 10, Fuentes Exquisitos maduro have lots of flavor not sure they would be considered full strength though but love them. Honestly though with the deals in find here I have some good $2 normal sized (robusto, toro, etc) cigars that I just set down if I run out of time.
The rojas breakfast tacos are pretty small and quick. I've only had the maduro once and it was very flavorful, I have the Sumatra still to try in my humidor.
Okay, I know, love or hate Punch cigars, but the Punch Clasico Elite (corona) and the Punch Rare Corojo Elite are my go to short smokes and as an added bonus neither one breaks the bank! I keep a box of both on hand for the winter months. Granted Punch says BOTH are full flavored, but I find them more medium to medium full.
